Your unused Xagio credits (xRenew Xags) used to disappear at every renewal. Not anymore. They stack now, and nothing expires while your subscription is active.
Which means your Xagio account gets more valuable the less you use it. That is a strange sentence to write about a subscription, and it’s true as of this week.
How it used to work
Every account got a monthly top-up, whatever plan you were on and however you were billed. That top-up overwrote your balance, so anything you hadn’t spent evaporated.
What changed
Two things.
1. Your xRenew Xags roll over. Your allowance now lands on top of whatever is already sitting in your account. Nothing expires while your subscription is active.
2. Your billing cycle now decides when they’re delivered. You get the Xags for the whole term you paid for, up front, in one go.
| Plan | Monthly | Quarterly | Annual |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lite | 100 every month | 300 every quarter | 1,200 every year |
| Pro | 500 every month | 1,500 every quarter | 6,000 every year |
| Agency | 1,500 every month | 4,500 every quarter | 18,000 every year |
Your plan sets the size of the allowance. Your billing cycle sets how much of it lands at once.
If you’re on Agency annual, that’s 18,000 xRenew Xags delivered to your account at once, sitting there until you use them. You’re no longer trickled a twelfth of your allowance every month.
If you’re on a quarterly or annual plan, we didn’t make you wait for your next renewal date to feel it. Your balance has already been topped up pro-rata for the rest of your current term. Log in and look: app.xagio.net
What a Xag actually costs you
Now that nothing expires, what you pay per Xag is worth looking at. Same credits, same features on every plan: the only thing that changes is how many you get and what you paid for them.
| Plan | Monthly | Quarterly | Annual |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lite | $0.97 each | $0.82 each | $0.66 each |
| Pro | $0.39 each | $0.33 each | $0.27 each |
| Agency | $0.20 each | $0.17 each | $0.14 each |
Agency annual works out to about 14 cents a Xag. Lite monthly is 97 cents. That’s the same Xag, spent on the same builds, for a seventh of the price.
That gap always existed. What’s different now is that buying in bulk no longer means watching the surplus evaporate at the end of the month. Every Xag you don’t spend is still yours.
What that actually does to an account
Take an Agency annual account. A full year of Xags arrives at once and sits there. Build hard in January, go quiet through the spring, come back in June: the whole pile is still waiting. Nothing was lost to a calendar.
Take a Lite monthly account. Skip a month of building and you walk into the next one with double to work with. Skip a quarter and you come back with a war chest instead of a reset balance.
A slow month is no longer a wasted month. It’s a bigger month later.
Every paid Xagio account is now an appreciating asset. The less you use it, the more it’s worth when you come back to it.
So why did we make this change?
Because we care about the value you get out of Xagio. Xags you paid for and didn’t use should still be yours, not written off at the end of a cycle.
And we’re about to add even more value on top of that too with our newest update to the Xagio platform.
Xagio Studio is coming, and it runs on Xags
You’re going to want those xRenew Xags rolling over when this one lands.
Studio is Agent X for HTML sites. Agent X builds and optimizes WordPress sites. Studio builds HTML sites, and we rebuilt every step along the way: the keyword research, the clustering, the unique image generation, the content, the schema, and the speed.
But here’s where Studio really starts to get exciting, and why you’ll love it.
Once our AI has designed your site, you talk to it. Type what you want changed into a chat box and watch it happen to your design in real time. If you’ve used Lovable or Replit, you already know the feeling. Plenty of tools build sites that way now. None of them are doing it on top of our proven SEO engine.
Here’s a first look at it in action:
Studio lands in about 4-6 weeks, and it runs on Xags which means no upgrade, no cost; you’ll have access to it the moment we release it. Every Xag sitting in your account between now and then is one waiting for it.
If you’re on a paid plan, you’re stockpiling already. If you’re not, that’s the reason to be.
