After many months of blood, sweat, tears, excitement, and working all hours of the day, the all-new Xagio Freedom 6.0 update is finally here.
In all the years that we have been enhancing Xagio, this is by far the biggest update we’ve ever created.
Here’s what’s new.
A Completely Redesigned UI
The first thing you’ll notice once you install the new Xagio plugin is that it looks very different.
But we didn’t just introduce a new color scheme and fancier graphics to make it look different.
Our amazing development team worked with our new graphics designer (who apparently is amazing at UI design as well) to completely redesign the look, feel, and navigation of every single screen. We spent hours analyzing how to make it quicker to navigate and faster to get to your end goal.
The result is an incredibly intuitive UI that makes it easier than ever to find the features and settings you need.
From separating Xagio and SEO settings to much easier Project Planner navigation, you can control all the same features with fewer clicks and less searching.
Exciting New Features
During the redesign process, we also decided to catch up with feature requests and ideas that have long been on our priority list.
1. Sitemaps
This was one of the most requested features from users, and we’ve implemented sitemap generation with many configuration features to fine-tune every aspect. Since we had been recommending Google XML Sitemaps by Auctollo this entire time, we really looked to them for inspiration but added our flair to it.
You can specify what to include and exclude in the XML, set priorities and change frequencies to suit the way you manage your website, and directly ping Google about changes.
Best of all, you don’t have to install and manage additional sitemap plugins. So don’t forget to uninstall your other sitemap plugins and update your sitemap entry in GSC if you use ours.
2. Niche Hunter
This is one of the features that we’re most excited about.
Niche Hunter is a keyword research & domain finding tool that allows you to easily find highly profitable and easy-to-rank keywords, which you can target or register as EMDs for Local SEO, Lead Gen or Rank & Rent sites.
Users of Keyword Supremacy will be familiar with this feature, and we’ve now built it directly into Xagio for direct integration into the Project Planner!
Simply specify a niche or target city, add pre-filters such as search volume, CPC, and Adwords competition, and Niche Hunter shows you up to 1,000 keywords to target or register as a domain.
Niche Hunter also shows you if any keyword is available to register as an exact-match-domain (EMD), and with the click of a button, you will be on the order page.
Niche Hunter makes it so fast and easy to find those diamonds in the rough, which I call Golden Niche Keywords.
Introducing XAGS - The New Xagio Currency
XAGS are Xagio’s new flex-currency, which allows you to use all of the functions inside Xagio based on your needs.
One of the biggest limitations in the old Xagio is that once you hit your limit for any particular feature, i.e. audit, wizard, competition, or AI credits, you’d have to wait until the next month or upgrade to a different plan.
XAGS completely eliminates this problem and introduces a much more flexible solution, so you have the freedom to use your favorite features whenever you need them.
Here’s how it works.
1. xRenew
Depending on your Xagio subscription plan, you receive xRenew XAGS on your monthly renewal date.
You can use these XAGS for all the Xagio functions, i.e. Audits, Wizards, keyword data, rank tracking, and AI features in any way you like. Meaning if all you want to do is track keywords, you can use your entire monthly allotment for that or be a bit smarter, and spread them out the way that works best for you!
These XAGS refresh each month but do not carry over. However, if you need more before your refresh date, you can choose to buy xBank XAGS.
2. xBanks
xBank XAGS work exactly like xRenew, but your xBank XAGS never expire!
xBanks give you complete freedom to use them whenever you need them, no matter how your project timelines adjust and pivot. Think of them like a bank account of savings that you can dip into any time you like!
3. xTemplates
Your Xagio subscription also includes a number of monthly Templates allowing you to instantly access our entire library of professionally designed website templates, and claim the template(s) of your choice every month. Monthly templates allowances replenish each period, but do not roll over.
xTemplates on the other hand are permanent until you use it. xTemplates come in handy when you want to access more templates than your monthly allowance! xTemplates do not expire and can be used at any time. As we constantly add new templates, you’ll also have the opportunity to expand your collection with your monthly allocation OR xTemplates.
If you want more templates than your plan allows, read on, cause it keeps getting better.
Xagio Store
To make it easier for you to top up your xBank XAGS and xTemplates, we’ve introduced a new store where you can take advantage of some amazing package deals.
If you need more XAGS or xTemplates than your monthly renewal allocation, you no longer need to upgrade your subscription. The store offers packages of XAGS and xTemplates that won’t expire, giving you maximum flexibility to use them when needed.
This is ideal if you have a temporary increased need for XAGS due to a boost in new project work.
