It’s those people that you can reach out to and target for a free or heavily discounted website.
Most of the time, I’ve found these are tradespeople like plumbers and electricians who simply don’t have the time to launch a website.
I’ve talked to many of them, and most don’t have a website because they’ve been quoted $4000 or more, plus hefty monthly or quarterly fees.
I’m not saying that all those quotes were bad, but you’re not going to convince a small business owner to spend that much on something that might not pay off for a long time.
So, your offer should be simple.
You’ll create a brand new website for less than $500, including 1 year of hosting. It gets your foot in the door, and you can then work on upselling them for SEO, pay-per-click ads, social media, etc.
